Jonathan Adler, Kate Spade, Ban.do, Daphne x NBS and PB

National Bookstore and Powerbooks keeps getting better and better as they do not only have new local and international titles, several book signing of best-selling authors, they also now bring in three new brands in the Philippines. Last December, they launched Kate Spade New York, Jonathan Adler, and Ban.do as an addition to the growing number of brands they are carrying.

This brings delight to shoppers who only used to see these collections online. Thanks to NBS and PB, we now have access to purchasing these designers' stuff! Each brands has its own personality and all offer quirky, fun and quality items perfect for our collection and gifting.

I recently visited Powerbooks Greenbelt 4 branch to check out the three new brands and I found interesting items on display. Let me give you a sneak peek of what they have in store for us.

Expensive little corner of PB Greenbelt branch

First off, Jonathan Adler. Potter-designer Adler's lifestyle collection features various timeless prints on journals, iPhone cases, umbrellas, and notebooks, among others. I spotted a Yayoi Kusama-inspired journal on their shelf. Gilrs would go gaga in these prints and patterns because there are a lot of choices to choose from and all are well-designed!

Here is their notebook/journal shelf, take a pick.

NBS and PB brought in Kate Spade NY's stationery collection, so sorry to disappoint you but you won't get to see designer bags, clothing, shoes, or jewelry in here but let me assure you that the journals, planners and stationery they offer are to die for. (Wallet's death, I'd say because even the smallest items cost over PhP 700.00.) My favorite from this collection is the "This Just In" journal.

Ahh, look at that... NOTEBOOKS!
Witty journals
For the minimalist, go black and white.

Classy, witty and still catchy

Kate Spade NY stationery collection beautifies our desks with its office supplies and other items such as picture frames, tumbler, pouches,  luggage tags, and many others. They stay classy with its plain, polkadots and stripe prints. I loved their statement journals, witty!

Last but not the least, Ban.do. Some of you may not be familiar with this brand. It is a Los Angeles-based gift and accessories brand. Their products are mostly fun, cute and sassy. Among the three brands, their display has got to be the liveliest. It really catches ones' eye. I'm sure most of the girls would love it, especially if your favorite color is pink. Most of their items comes with pink hue.

Ban.do's tumbler and Hooray Hooray tote bag are famous.

I love their "I AM VERY BUSY" pouch bag. Look at all those iPhone cases!

This is not part of the three brands' display. It is a random shelf display in PB. Inspiring.

Just a heads up for those who want to purchase these cute items, you gotta bring your fat wallet with you. Prices range from PhP 800+- 2000+. I know right, God bless our savings!

I also visited NBS Glorietta 1 and found that  expensive little corner. The three brands' corner is not as spacious as that of PB GB branch but I saw more items here.

Travel Pillows, thermal tumbler, umbrella more cases, pouches and tote bags.
Can other bulldog clips get anymore chic than Kate Spade's?

Jonathan Adler, Kate Spade NY, and Ban.do are only available on selected branches of NBS at Glorietta 1, Rockwell, and Shangri-la Plaza; and of PB at Greenbelt, Megamall, Alabang Town Center, and TriNoma.

Now let's go local because our very own should not be left behind.

Last January, TV host, producer, and blogger, Daphne Osena-Paez launched her collection. This includes paper, tote bags, stationery items for students, offices, and home. I love her designs since it's mostly teal and floral. I must say it can compete with the above-mentioned International designer brands plus these are comparably more affordable.

Get organized with these!

I know NBS and PB can bring more brands here in Manila, and I'm excited for that as well. Oh yes, girls just wanna have fun so check out these stores and get that Pinterest/Tumblr/Instagram worthy item you've been eyeing!
