Gift ideas for him and her: Typo and Wonderpop

So it's Valentine's day yesterday and so there are a lot of commercialized cheesy stuff being sold again.

This should have been a stand-alone post on Typo but I figured it's also timely for the Love month. This could also be applicable on other occasions if you wish.

TYPO

There are several choices of gifts to gives for girls, bags, dress, shoes, stuff toys and random stuff, Typo offers just that. If you frequent Instagram, you probably have seen this store on your feed.

Typo opened their store in Manila late last year. It is an Australian brand which is a flagship of Cotton On selling various stuff such as notebook and journals, tech and travel accessories, decorations for your office and home and mostly artsy stuff. I bet a lot of hipster will love this store as it offers really cool stuff perfect for personal retail therapy or gift ideas. They opened their first store in Trinoma and opened their second branch in Greenbelt 5. I only visited their GB5 branch and I will walk you through it in photos:

Photoblog: Art Fair Philippines 2014

Before I continue this post, let me first warn you that this is going to be long and very visual.

Okay, continue...

"Parking lot turned art haven" that's how I will describe Art Fair Philippines 2014 held on February 20-23, 2014 at The Link. I was overwhelmed by the installations and great talents, I hope everyone will get the recognition they deserve.

I am reminiscing last year's Art Fair because Art Fair 2015 opened yesterday. It will again be held at The Link and will run from February 5 to 8, 2015.

I will include almost all the photos I took at the Art Fair Philippines 2014 to somewhat give you a tour at the 28 galleries installed in no particular order below:

2015

5, 4, 3, 2, 1...

Yes, it's been more than a week since the New Year so allow me to greet you a Happy New Year!

It is already 2015. Other than fireworks, abundant dining tables and festive mood, there's no better way to start the year but to have a light heart, a smile and clear disposition.

Let all things be amazing this year

Huge sale as H&M opens in SM Makati

They say that fashion never sleeps, is that the reason why several Filipinos camped in Mega Fashion Hall from the afternoon of 16 October til 17 October 2014?! The answer is maybe.

Oops. Wrong store advertisement!
They camped in and lined up for a Swedish fashion brand, H&M store opening in Manila! But why?

Tim Ho Wan, anyone?

*This is a long due Tim Ho Wan review. Throwbacks are coming in. Stay tuned!

If you visited SM Mega Fashion Hall in the past months, you probably noticed a long queue at the ground floor. Nope, it's not a fashion store, it's no other than Tim Ho Wan! So what's so special about this restaurant that people patiently fall in line for it?

Cow Dadi's Soft Opening

On Fridays, most restaurants are fully-booked for dinner especially if it happens to be a "payday Friday". Everyone wants to go out and enjoy their happy hour after work or school as prelude to the weekend.

In Makati City alone, despite being surrounded by malls and hole-in-the-wall food places, most of the establishments are still easily fully-booked and some stores close a little early so you really have to be vigilant for you to be able to score seats on the restaurants you've been eyeing...or you have to be an explorer.

One Friday evening of September, we got off work late, it's past 8 and most stores in the Ayala malls are already closing so we found ourselves exploring nearby streets in Ayala but there's still no luck, so we ended up in streets a little farther until finally one establishment along Urban Avenue caught our eye. The name of the place is "Cow Dadi" and it's on its soft opening. Got sold because, steak. I love steak!
